Cellulite Diets: Can They Work on Belly Fat Too?

Cellulite Diets: Can They Work on Belly Fat Too?

I'm not really sure why more people aren't talking about this. I've read articles that talk about cellulite being caused by a build-up of harmful fat and toxins. And I've read articles that talk about belly fat being caused by deposits of toxins in our bodies. So shouldn't we be able to find a diet that's going to get rid of both at the same time? Shouldn't cellulite diets and belly fat diets be the same thing? The simple answer is yes, they could be.

Can Dieting Actually Get Rid of Cellulite?

That's a great question because we need to remember that even thin people can have cellulite. So if cellulite doesn't necessarily come from being overweight, what causes it? And how can cellulite diets effect it?

Well, cellulite (and the fat around your belly too) is mostly made up of stored toxins and nasty fats that our bodies haven't been able to process and eliminate. So when we talk about "cellulite diets", we're actually talking about a system of eating that helps remove toxins, as much as we are one that will help you lose some weight. When you take the nasty fats and toxins out of our diet, the cellulite simply has nothing left to feed on, and won't be able to increase and spread any further.

So How Do I Get Rid of What's Already There?

Following on from what's above, it make sense that the only way to get rid of cellulite is to be on a diet that cleanses the existing toxins from your body. (This goes for belly fat too.) Cellulite diets must be nutritionally supportive, giving your body the right mix of carbohydrates, protein, healthy fats, and all the vitamins, minerals and trace minerals it needs, allowing it to operate in optimal health. Cellulite diets must also provide an active cleansing component to help your body eliminate the toxins that are already stored in your belly fat and cellulite.

Don't forget, your body is an incredible piece of machinery. It WANTS to get rid of the toxins, and will do everything it can to get rid of them. To support it though, you must reduce the amount of toxins you're taking in, and you must give your body all the nutritional support it needs as it eliminates the stored up toxins, your cellulite, and your belly fat.

Why Regular Diets Don't Work on Belly Fat and Cellulite

Your average, over-the-counter diet will most likely NOT help you reduce cellulite or belly fat. Why not? Well, a lot of the diets out there offer up minimal intake of fats and carbohydrates, and end up leaving out some of the most beneficial compounds and substances your body needs to function healthily. And if your body isn't functioning healthily, you can bet it won't be focussed on eliminating toxins, and getting rid of your cellulite as part of the process.
